Chanel haute couture ss15

Everyone is talking about the new Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2015. No wonder it is beautiful, if I had the money you would see me wearing a piece when I travel to paris! I would be flaunting my outfit with no care in the world, dancing about the streets.
This is my favourite piece out of the collection. I follow the haute couture page on Facebook, where I receive recent updates on the fashion shows and new collections. That's where I found some images, that inspired me. I love how throughout the collection there is similar embellishments like the 3D flowers. Embellishment is one of my favourite parts of creating a garment. It makes the garment more unique and personal.
When I see this dress I get a range of emotions. It is covered in poppies and brings images in my head of the London poppy display. A few members of my family have the ceramic poppies from the display. I think of all the heroes who faught for our country.
Just look at the fine detailing, image how long it took to make. The 3D ruffle effect on the shoulder straps are beautiful, not sure I would wear the dress myself, but if I had the option to wear a Chanel dress who wouldn't!

These dresses automatically make me think of dolly mixtures sweets and liquorice alsorts. I love the dress on the left of the picture the pastel flowers are beautiful. It's nice how it's 3D at the top but from the hips down is sleek and tight which compliments the figure. I would definitely strut my stuff around town on it.
I could go on and on about how spectacular this spring/summer collection is. I would love to own my own piece but that would take a lot of savings! I love how it has a variation of pastels and deep colours which contrast.
I know I'm dreaming big but it would be a dream to be an amazing couture designer called HANNAHROSE but people would call it rose "Did you see the new Rose spring/summer collection on the runway'. If you want to make it anywhere you better dream big! I hope that it can come true.
Currently creating my third year collection for 'The Kooples' and I hope it turns out amazing and it turns out the way I want it to. I'll keep you bloggers upto date on my design process and how everything turns out. I'm going to start some of my final designs next week: fingers crossed.
HANNAHROSE.

designer in the making...

Long time no write...

I thought I would show you my most recent finalised garment that has been produced. This leather jacket was inspired by Amelia Earhart and designed for 'Alexander Leathers'. I am not going to lie to you and tell you that it wasn't a struggle to produce, because it was. The purchase in the fur was not the best choice, as it was stretchy and when sewing the leather to it they just resisted each other and made it difficult to handle. I am proud to say that I made this even though I would change a few details,  what designer doesn't consider changing aspects of their designs after production. No one is perfect nor is a garment.
