Fashion show

After Monday I will no longer be a college student and will be making my way up to university to study fashion technology in my third year. It's starting to kick in but will hit once I'm finished college that I've done it. All the hard work has paid off. 

We recently done an end of year fashion show. My theme was 'Bright Spark' which I linked to the origin of life. 

I am very proud of my collection!! 

My favourite piece is my purple wire dress. It looks delicate but the wires make it edgy and bold. It was the first piece finished. 

Each garment had it's own difficulties to consider but that's what makes me a better designer by over coming these situations and learning how to fix them. The two multi-coloured pieces are from my collection subjects and the other two are from my concept class. 

The see through electrical dress has rainbow LED lights which change different colours. 

The fashion show went so quick and went so well. I am very proud of myself and all the girls in my class for the show we created and garments we produced. The models, hair and make up artists were awesome. 

The jacket I created had open seams with clear plastic strips. I didn't choose easy fabrics. The jacket was finished the day of the fashion show. The skirt had started to be sewn and finished the day before. Not an easy task but proud of the results.

Fashion festival inspiration

II am sorry for you bloggers out there for not writing in ages. It's busy busy at the end of the college year. 

I have been so excited for t in the park!! Been looking through my Instagram, and getting some fashion inspiration. How beautiful is the tye dye effect kimono is!? I'd love a crotchet Bralet too. Mmm... Let's go look for one. 

I wish I was blonde. Not really but the girl has some awesome. I have coloured chalk and it turns out better on blonde hair. I'm going to try it for t in the park. Get my colour rave on.
